I may be a bit biased on this one…because I am a Colorado native!
Colorado has always been my “home base” and I am currently living full-time in an RV traveling around Colorado.
Here’s everything that needs to be added to your Colorado bucket list from a local!

- Go order an Aglio and Olio with extra red pepper flakes and a lemon at Cranelli’s (I worked here and this is my favorite dish)

- Brave some rocky mountain oysters.
- Experience something different with a bison burger.
- Find a local and have them cook you Green Chile.
- Order Colorado lamb.
- Taste freshly caught trout with some local spices.
- Eat an ungodly amount of palisade peaches (one of my favorites!)
- Get stuffed with a Denver omelette
- Taste a flight of local craft beer at a mountain distillary.
- Go to brunch in Denver (my favorites are Snooze, Urban Egg, and Bacon Social House)
- Embark a hunting trip.
- Go fishing.
- Visit the Airplane Restaurant (in a plane!) in Colorado Springs.
- Eat your weight in ice cream at Little Man in Denver.
- Eat way too much fudge in Estes Park.

- Relax at the Broadmoor Hotel and Resort.
- Take the kids to Great Wolf Lodge.
- Enjoy Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs.
- Talk to some ghosts at the Stanley Hotel.
